Born in Ditchling and educated at Sacred Heart, Woldingham School, Fiona is a fully qualified teacher and has over 20 years' of experience teaching in both prep and secondary school level. She was awarded a BA Hons degree in History of Art and Conservation at the London Institute for Fine Art, having secured a Diploma in Art Foundation from the University of Brighton. She also holds a British Dyslexia Association Level 3 Certificate. Fiona spent many years running art galleries in London, before returning to her roots in the Sussex countryside and training to become a teacher. She worked for eight years at Wadhurst Primary School before moving to Ashdown House.
Fiona has successfully prepared many students for pre-tests, Common Entrance and scholarships to leading independent secondary schools across the UK. She has experience teaching all subjects, with a particular passion for the sciences, maths, VR and NVR.
Fiona's main hobbies are painting, skiing and playing tennis, but she spends most of her free time watching her two sons playing sport or being involved in drama productions.
