Harriet studied English Language and Literature at the University of Oxford and holds a Masters degree from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama.
Harriet has worked in education across the independent and state sectors for twelve years and has held tutoring positions in the UK, Switzerland, Italy and the US. She has a wealth of experience preparing students in English for 7+, 11+ and 13+ examinations and her pupils have gone on to some of the best schools in the UK (including Harrow and St Pauls Girls’ School). For the past five years, Harriet has specialised in tutoring international students of all ages online, designing specialised programmes of work for them on English literature, grammar, drama, philosophy and world history.
Harriet has a passion for personalising the experience of education and working closely with students to build their confidence and nurture their interest in a subject.
Alongside her teaching, Harriet works as a performer and writer. She has performed in theatres across the country and on the BBC/ITV; her writing has been commissioned by BBC Radio 4, the Prison Radio Association and Public Health England and produced in theatres, schools and prisons across the UK.
